About

I am a person. I am a mother. I am a wife. I am a daughter. I am a singer. I am an artist. I am a rock climber. I am a yogi. I am a grants specialist. I am a volunteer. I am a caregiver. I am a Washingtonian. I am a Marylander. I am a Spanish Venezuelan Russian Hungarian. I am a Jewish Catholic Zen Buddhist Humanist Agnostic. I am all of these things, and defined by none of these things. I am a person.

Imperfect Lines is a place to share with others those things in life which bring me aesthetic joy, art, design, music, culture, and nature. This may seem "on the surface" but I hope that by spreading enjoyment of the beauty around us, I can help to remind others that diversity makes life interesting, and that we are all not so different as we think.

What you won't find here is my family.  Because my family is most important to me, I want them to be able to decide their online presence.  A toddler is not media savvy enough to know what impact being part of their mother's blog will have in their future, so for now, my family will largely remain out of view. Thank you for understanding.
